KWSO: Bill aimed at strengthening school bullying policies leaps over legislative hurdle

OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) - A Bill aimed at improving school board policies in regards to bullying has passed the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

The Bill would require parental notification of bullying within 24 hours after the school finds out about a bullying incident.


House Bill 2017 was proposed by Rep. Daniel Pae (R-Lawton) to help strengthen already existing policies in school boards and protect the well-being of all Oklahoma students.
