Editorial: Mandated ethics training for Ryan Walters a good idea for all elected officials

State Superintendent Ryan Walters struck a deal with the Ethics Commission about his irresponsible behavior on social media that brings up a good idea for all elected officials: mandated ethics training. 

In addition, we offer this suggestion: required training in the Oklahoma Open Meeting and Open Records acts. For decades, Oklahoma's Attorney General's Office has provided free workshops about the state's transparency laws.
